The Beat Goes On (2020)

The Beat Goes On is a video project that was made in partnership with students from HCC Dance during the Covid shutdown. This work aims to capture the experience of being under lockdown and the restlessness of wanting to move. Students participated by submitting short video clips in response to simple dance prompts, showcasing their emotions during this time.
Although this project was unplanned and unexpected. It became a lot of fun figuring out how to capture what we were all feeling at the time.
